Coleman was a Lancashire resident born in Blackpool. Coleman attended Arnold School Blackpool as head girl. She also scored every A grade for her A level examinations. Coleman regrets not having receive a standard university education when discussing the Emmerdale experiences. Coleman performed as Crystal Clear at the Edinburgh Festival as part of a group called In Yer Space, which she was a part of when she was in school. Along with being awarded a prize for acting, the play that she performed was well-received. Coleman won the Emmerdale character Jasmine Thomas after auditioning with drama schools. In 2007, Coleman was nominated for two awards. Coleman won two nominations in 2007: Best Newcomer for the British Soap Awards; and the most Popular Newcomer for the National Television Awards. In the British Soap Awards of 2009 she was awarded in the categories Best Actress and Sexiest female in addition to the Best Dramatic Acting. Coleman was nominated for Best Actress at the TV Choice Awards. Steven Moffat of Doctor Who made it clear at a press meeting held on the 21st march 2012, that Coleman would take over the role of Karen Gillan after she and Arthur Darvill had left. Moffat claimed that he selected Coleman to play the role of companion because she would perform best alongside Smith. In addition, Moffat noted that she talked faster than Smith. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She has been in the world of entertainment since 1987. Her work has been much prominent on TV than films. Eva's TV roles on"Dr. Maria Santos, in All My Children, and detective Natalia Boa Vista in CSI Miami stand out. The actress was nominated 2 "Daytime Emmys" in the role she played as well as having the the opportunity to express her musical creativity. Eva is, along with acting as an actress, is an entrepreneur and philanthropist. Her third husband is the father of her daughter.
