Shay Mitchell has been a Canadian actor, model and entrepreneur for over 10 years. Most famous for playing Emily Fields, she is one of the stars on the Freeform television show Pretty Little Liars. Shay Lo is the nickname of an avid Jennifer Lopez Mitchell fan who became popular among acquaintances. Her interest in performing arts began in childhood. She spoke to her parents about the possibility of becoming a professional within this area. When she was able to perform well in dance and modeling, Mitchell wanted to study acting. So she took lessons in Toronto. Mitchell made a few guest appearances on TV series as well as commercials prior to getting the big break. Her role was on Pretty Little Liars as Emily Fields.
