Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
The initial inspiration came from shadows reflected on grass. After a few weeks she came up with a technique that didn't make the subject on canvas as an image that was flat. The subject becomes a replica that is its own with the canvas carrying its own interpretation painted by the object. This is especially true in the case of a living object or perishable such as fruit or people. Alexa's style of painting is very ephemeral. Only the photographs of her work survive. Techniques of photography and painting are closely coordinated and result in a flat, two-dimensional space that achieves trompe l'oeil. Certain areas of the photo such as the hair, or eyes, display the three-dimensional dimension. Meade often integrates her painting into the three-dimensional surroundings around it that allows the model to be a part of the context of their own. This eliminates the distinctions between painting, photography and installation.
